DESCRIPTION:*Group Therapy*\nNew 8 week dance movement psychotherapy group starting on Wednesday 14th September.\nYou are invited to join an 8-week Dance Movement Psychotherapy group in which you will begin a journey into knowing yourself better\, and healing and thriving by using creative\, embodied approaches.\nEach week we will focus on a different theme\, we will engage in movement and creativity to explore and experience the theme\, whilst continually holding space for you and what you bring with you into the experience.\n\nEach participant’s experience and aims for the group will be different\, but some benefits that people may experience are decreased stress and increase in feelings of calmness; developing and using creative and body-based coping strategies; a keener awareness of their own inner world; and a greater connection to their body and awareness of their mind/body relationship.\n\nThe group process enables us not only to heal ourselves but learn from others and benefit from the insights they have gained from their experience. Wonderful things can happen when we come together in groups with a shared intention of healing.\n\nThe group runs 10am - 11:30am Wednesday\, starting the 14th Sept with a 1 week break on the 28th Sept.\nCost of the full 8 week course £280\nThis will be held at the treatment centre.\n\nTo book and secure your place just complete the contact us form and let us know you are interested!\n\nIf you are not local\, we also have an online course available on Wednesday evening.
