SUMMARY:ONLINE Dance Movement Psychotherapy Group - June 2023
DESCRIPTION:*Group Therapy*\nNew ONLINE 8 week dance movement psychotherapy group starting on Monday evening\, 5th June 2023\nYou are invited to join an 8-week Dance Movement Psychotherapy group in which you will begin a journey into knowing yourself better\, and healing and thriving by using creative\, embodied approaches.\n\nEach week we will focus on a different theme\, we will engage in movement and creativity to explore and experience the theme\, whilst continually holding space for you and what you bring with you into the experience.\n\nEach participant’s experience and aims for the group will be different\, but some benefits that people may experience are decreased stress and increase in feelings of calmness; developing and using creative and body-based coping strategies; a keener awareness of their own inner world; and a greater connection to their body and awareness of their mind/body relationship.\n\nThe group process enables us not only to heal ourselves but learn from others and benefit from the insights they have gained from their experience.
