Panic Attacks - SafeHaven Trauma Centre
A panic attack is our body’s exaggerated response to fear, stress or excitement and is a really terrifying experience.
Symptoms include:
• Nausea
• Sweating
• Chest pains
• Trembling
• Feeling faint
• Anxiety and fear.
Some people feel like they are going to black out, have a heart attack or even die, and even though they are incredibly frightening and intense, they are not dangerous.
